    Owen's tour of the United states continues with his third card sent in from the Memorial Mall in Washington DC. It's interesting he mentioned the heat and humidity, as my own visits to the US capital included memories of extreme humid & muggy conditions.

    Back home now sat on my sofa with suitcases & contents of bags scattered everywhere.
    Rather worn out after a long day travelling home.
    Good to see a reminder of our trip .

    Just looking at our photos.
    Here is me posting that very postcard the day after buying & writing it.
    Mailbox near the Smithsonian Metro station outside the Arts & Industries building.
    As you can see , that day it was raining.

    I see you trying to to look American with those baggy cargo shorts. I should have sent you an Alabama Crimson Tide ball cap to complete the ensemble.
