I am the adopter of the grave of PFC Bernard van der Steen at the American Cemetery Margraten in The Netherland. Since five years I'm also conducting a historical research on this soldier.

I found his 52-1 form, report of death, dated May 21th, 1945. Additional data says:

    *Combat Infantryman (G.O. 13, HQ. 27th Armd. Inf. BN-6 apr. 45

Does anyone knows what G.O. 13 means and what the date 6-apr 45 could mean in this sentence? PFC Bernard van der Steen was KIA on April 13th, 1945.

Also, any information about the 27th ARM INF BAT is more than welcome.

Hard to say without the context of the entire document. "G.O." is General Orders. It would be the 13th GO by the HQ, 27th Armored Infantry Battalion in 1945 (they were sequential by year. Most General Orders deal with awards, disciplinary actions, and standard operating procedures, but they can also include personnel matters.
