Phantom dive

    This phenomenon killed several Gloster Meteor crews according to the documentary film I referred to earlier. Unfortunately cannot find any decent articles in the net. Can anyone help on this one?

    Go to this site and then read it and then read the deep stall link. I think this is the same as what you are seeing on TV except with a different name. The Meteor was an early user of the T-tail and it's problems.

    No more info? I mean a jet falling out of the sky without warning would make the pilots a bit scared of the plane,right?

    The pilots just needed to be aware not to get into that kind of stall to begin with. After that there was not a problem.
