Phoney War correspondence from Mailly le Camp

    Bought this frame from Mailly le Camp some weeks ago. It is most interesting because it shows the camp at its very early stage around 1909. This explains the horse drawn carts and thelack of tanks . Tank pictures are logically from 1917 and onwards. In 1940 the Germans occupied this camp and as you know it was completely destroyed in 1944 by a massive and dramatic RAF attack which cost the lives of many good air crews. Therefore a large framed picture (70cm x 40xcm) of this camp is quite a relic [​IMG]

    It's in a great condition too. Luckily not many people knew what this was even about, so I got it for a fairly cheap price att he end of the day.
