    The following two photos deal with the Durham Light Infantry in WWII. I cannot find my signed photos of Captain Richard Wallace Annand V.C. who was a nice Gent to know the short time I got to know and be friends with him. Captain Annand is sorely missed by me. The following photo is of a Memorial set up commemorating the DLIs Victoria Cross Recipients.

    This is the Artillery piece that one of the men listed on that memorial--used against Rommels forces in North Africa: Ptivate A.H. Wakenshaw--who was killed defending his position. This piece easily shows battle damaged due to shrapnel from nearby explosions. Pardon my French but--those Men had balls of Steel::thumb:
