    My great uncle served in the 6th Armored Division during the war in their Recon Platoon, and his brother, my grandfather, was an officer stationed in the South Pacific in places such as Borneo and New Guinea.

    ..I was going to do a thread on war pictures through the ages---they seem to never change ..same poses/etc
