Possible Japanese uniform, need identification.

    One of my Soviet reenacting friends has what he thinks is a Japanese blouse from the war. It is khaki or a light green colored blouse with a handmade pocket on the left breast. But the strange bit is a horizontal loop at the base of the collar. It's not like any uniform of Japan I'm familiar with. Any help?
