Hey, I'm Grant, a 14 year old male who is OBSESSED with reading, watching WWII documentaries(spelling?) and playing WWII Games. For 14, I know alot, but not near as much as you guys. None of my relatives that I know of were in WWII, but my Great-Grandpa, who sadly passed away in his sleep Nov.06, almost flew P-51 Mustangs. I'd like to become an active poster, and hopefully learning more as I hang around all you old geezers :tommygun:
Welcome to both of you. It's never too early to learn about WWII. The nice thing about this forum is that you have people from all ages, different countries, different social class and we are all united by our WWII passion. I just wish there were more ladies.
Grant, welcome from a young but not that young lad.As a matter of fact I think you're ven younger then Sturmkreuz? Or am I'm mistaken?
Haha! Thanks everyone! Hopefully I can learn tons here. Yeah WWII is my passion, although the way it sounds make war sounds nice, and we all know its not(I hope?). But once again I know alot, but not a lot like you guys. Thanks again everybody! Grant
Welcome, Grant -- from another geezer who's only middle-age, give or take -- when I was your age, computers were giant machines that took up entire floors of buildings and had to be kept at a constant room temperature of something like 68 F (that's 20 C for those of you who don't use the antiquated system) and were programmed in binary Good thing for you that things have progressed, or you'd be stuck at the library in a solitary pursuit of your passion I'm also fairly new to this forum, and I agree that there's a lot to be learned from everyone here. Momentarily OT... Well... I'm female. Does that count?
I'm a 15 year old high schooler who loves history and I just joined this forum. I didn't even know this existed!! =O And, welcome Grant... (even though it's kind of late).
