While looking up Japanese pornographic handkerchiefs(LOL) I found this very interesting site about "PSYOP, PSYWAR, Propaganda - Strange Gifts from Above". It talks about all kinds of items used for PSYOP, PSYWAR and Propaganda from the 30s to the present day. Im really surprised on what items were dropped. Especially in WWII.

This is the quote from the article,

"They communicated by sign language, and the Americans traded cigarettes with them in exchange for handkerchiefs with pornographic images on them."

TA152 and I both were wondering about thier existance so I decided to see what I could find. I found this execellent site while searching for info.

I do remember at least a couple of decades back, that in "Heff's" magazine there were a couple of attempts by the Germans (in WW 2) to dishearten Allied troops with propaganda concerning what their wives & sweethearts were doing in their absence.
The English was poor and disordered, and the references were "korny" to say the least, but it got the point across, if only visually. About plumbers/electricians/milk men, etc.
They were comical, but who knows what effect they had. I've no idea how many were fired/dropped.
They looked real, (from the period), and I was wondering if someone else remembered these.
(It wasn't my magazine, but I did look at the pictures....I mean read the articles.)

No Mr. Za I don't. I wasn't paying attention back then.
Charlie Manson, Hippies, war (a different one) and all.
What did I miss? Do you have a link, or do I have to buy a book?
Was he a bad (or worse) boy?
He is smart, but that does not define character.

SW, I do remember at the time reading a couple of articles by HK on SE Asia politics and the end of the Vietnam war, etc. Seriously!

Oh, at the time this kind of literature was forbidden, so we only had bootleg copies :)

Ahhhh, this explains much. I know I've seen these things (of what I spoke), but they're not PC anymore, and perhaps removed from the Pla_boy archives as well.
The "Man", looking out for our welfare. Denial is in Egypt (I know...lame)
I'll keep looking around/asking.....You've "spurred" an interest !:)
