    Hello, all-

I am looking for a publication or information regarding WWII island fortifications in the United States. Has anyone come across a book that addresses this subject specifically?

Thanks for any help or thoughts!

Thanks, Skylinedrive. I will check it out.

Is Osprey suspect? I am not familiar with it.

Some of the Osprey volumes are a bit light in terms of detailed information. They're good "general overview" books. I personally like them, but they're a pricy for what you get (~100 page softcover book for 25 bucks here in Canada).

Thanks for the info, Alan. I will see if the library has it then.
