QUERY: Original WW2 German or Soviet map of Vistula river area of operations

Hey there,

I am looking for an original ww2 German or Soviet map which covers any area along the Vistula (Wisla) river in Poland.

Any tips would be highly appreciated.

You could try Ebay.de . They have quite a few maps there. However finding one fro mthe area you ar elooking for may need some patience. The ones I have are all from the West front.

 

See this, select a square, choose a date, download the map. It will be enormous - can't be viewed in a browser properly, an external app is needed.

Just found a map which shows a bit of the river around Bromberg (now called Bydgoszcz). That's good enough for me.

Great to hear that, If you have a chance to post a picture or two , I'd love to see it, epsecially the German names of the Wartheland area.
