    Just curious:
    Is Rafale better than the Typhoon?

    The specs suggest the Typhoon...I would like an anti shipping option also for the Typhoon though...

    Rafale is the better dogfighter, mud mover, and is better at low and mid altitudes. The Typhoon comes into its own at high altitudes. However, current upgrades underway are closing the gap where the Typhoon is deficient.

    According to wiki, the Rafale is also used by India, Egypt, and Qatar. Both aircraft are or have been contenders for procurement by numerous nations.

    Australia checked them out before choosing the Super Hornet...
