After a four-year search, the owner of a mysterious Royal Canadian Air Force bracelet has been located! Read the whole heartwarming story on my Wartime Wednesdays blog.

Thank you Elinor, I never miss "Wartime Wednesdays" you continually find great things to write about. Interestingly here that two WW2 bracelets , The Hurtgen Forest one and now this one have come up within the week That too was a nice story..

Both these stories are poignant and compelling to read. and a bit miraculous. Nice to see something heart felt in the news instead of seedy politics, note I am an Independent!!!, storms, earthquakes, terrorism, etc. Not that I am discompassionate, I always try to help, it is just good to see these types of human stories as well.

I agree! There are too many bad news stories! Thanks for your comment, Gaines.

Elinor, what a heart-warming story. I'm so glad you didn't give up on finding the owner of the bracelet. Your persistence is admirable. My father in law had a US bracelet similar to the one you found. It's now in my possession. I guess both countries had similar ideas. I'd like to think that your romantic idea of how it came to Lige's possession is true.

Unless Lige won it in a poker game, it's hard to see the bracelet as anything but a romantic souvenir!
