You only DL it from STEAM or order it on a CD from them. It wasn't developed by a game company. There was a contest a while ago using the UnrealTournament Engine I believe and the winner of the Contest was given X Amount of Money to develop their game. Red Orchestra's team won the contest and have since developed the game, which wasn't released to stores because it was low key and not published by a developer. Its got a pretty decent fan-base of hardcore gamers I think, but was never designed to be a mass-market released game. They're also developing a ETO version of the game with new units etc which should be pretty awesome.

It could be Leningrad, probably is as matter of fact.

I should have internet (and desk for my computer) by this time next week. After that, I plan on buying myself a new Hard Drive and 2GB of Memory ($200 in total) at which point more screenshots and movies will be made! As it is, I don't have enough free GB on my HD to take/make anymore. I'll probably move all my games over onto the new hard drive (500 GB as opposed to the 80GB I have right now).

Same with HOI II Screenshots and updates. And of course more COD/UO/2 Movies.

Only one place to get it from: STEAM. Or go to the Red Orchestra website and Buy it from there (will open up DL). Pretty simple, just follow instructions.

WoW! What a game! I highly recommend this to anyone! I have been glued to the computer every night... My previous FPS WW2 experience makes me so unprepared for the realism of this game...

As a veteran of so many games past I only now feel the sting of battle!

Thank you for this thread and opening my eyes to the greatest WW2 FPS of all time!

Hmmm, thats wierd, I baught it on Amazon.co.uk on a disk, when I installed it it installed Steam too.
I'd always choose to buy a disk than Download something, not after the Fiasco with Battlefield 2...

I agree, I would prefer to have ANY game on disk but after watching every video I could on YOUTUBE and reading all the reviews including this one I just could not wait another minute for an Ebay bid or shipping time.

I will probably get the disk later just incase.

CD's are always safe but if you remove the game from your PC you can always re-download it for free from Steam. Also don't have to wait for Ebay or Amazon to ship etc.

We should all get together and play some night - what are your handles for the game?

I'd have to check my handle, but it should be PanzerPenguin or <|dPP|>Penguin

Will find out tonight. 9PM EST works for me too - fancy a round tonight? I suggest getting TeamSpeak if you don't have it already, far easier to talk that way then to try and type things out while people are shooting at you.

I usually frequent either of the Wild Bunch 50 Player Servers.

For training purposes we can hijack an empty server.

Im on there as Keystone TwoEight, but I installed a new DVD-RW/CD-RW in my PC the other day, and now Steam is all tweaked out. I dont want to muck about with it too much, because I dont want to screw up COD4, but if I can figure my problem out, I'll be there too.
