Otto, sorry for the off topic reply, but in your signature, are those tanks from a PC game?

Don't know whether some of you noticed, but for the first time of the history of the forum, two of our estimated Veterans have passed the 500 positive rep line and have little green medal next to their blue ones. Our mods must have created this special medal + the caption that goes with it espececially for this event.

Is it? You're probably right but I just see a golden circle with a green ribbon and it says you're really nice!

Looked at it with my glass, too.

It looks to me that it is just drawn shadows to give the appearance of depth to a raised circle apprearance in the center of it.

How he does these 'micro-graphics' never ceases to amaze me, you zoom in on some of the tanks etc. in the smilies and they're nothing, a handful of dots, but from the right perspective they look fine.

    Damnation.

You need to pay attention to the details, the Order of the Bottle Opener, Class II is easily recognised because it has a silver chevron with "Shandy is ok" inlaid on the right side.

    Hello guys,
I have a question. Is the i.p. address the address from one specific computer used at any address, or is it the address of a connection subscription for any computer at a specific place?

IP address are configured on a machine (without going into the nuts and bolts of how it is done) but are tied to the location of a machine. Move the machine to another location, it's IP will generally change. There does exist the possiblity if you move from one inhome to another on a carrier's network, you could keep the same IP, depending on how they are configuered to hand them out.

    Does this answer your question?

Guess what, I was awarded the Order of the Bottle Opener, III Class as well, see my little medals on the right hand corner :D

I must have unwittingly done something good to deserve this, and it must have been unwittingly, for in my witting moments I'm as evil as snakes, that's surely why I was driven out of Ireland (not by St. Padraig but by some Air Lingus cabin crew with different names).

My Positive Reputation award power has increased to 10 points, which is good for all of you, but beware! Meanwhile my Negative Reputation broadside has increased by 25%, so do not needlessly have Sauron, oops!, The Red Rabbi bend his thought towards you!
