Thanks for the advice Mussolini, it seems like I will have to spend a couple of nights watching dvd's. I won't forget the pizzas and the beer that go with it.

That's actually not a bad thought - I saw and enjoyed 'Flags' but missed out on 'Letters'.....:(

I see I have a reputation of being disabled.

Does this mean I can apply for a parking permit?

It's ok, our scientists have bred a new kind of flying Uber-woodworm. Clouds of them should keep even :martinbull:'s personal wooden wonder away. :mischief:

We've just got to keep digging a deep enough bunker to avoid the inevitable popping over with his Lancaster and a Tallboy... we have until his London garage has dealt with that annoying squeak in the dashboard. :bastid:

Your reputation is actually quite good, but you have the feature turned off.

What I don't understand is that everyone is so afraid of this dreaded reputation system, so people either want it removed and/or they turn it off. The thing is that you Rogues have complete control over how it works, and you have the power to give out reputation points to any members post you like, but almost no one does. Members talk about who should have a high reputation but then they don't give them any reputation points. I don't get it, if you are worried about someone coming around and giving bad repuations points out, the way to combat this is to make sure you give out points to the posts you do like.

You should all give Von Poop a big thank you because he is the only member who regularly gives positive feedback to posts he feels are valuable. Come to think of it I'm going to find a post of his and give him some positive repuation right now.

Well, to be honest with you Otto, I haven't figured out how to do it. :spin:
Otherwise, I'd be handing out laudations on those who can back up what they say with good information (not generalities or opinions) and who can do it without getting all pissed off when someone disagrees with them.

I've been a forum once where there was a poster who got all bent out of shape if you didn't accept every sacrosanct missive of his. He got tedious very quickly and eventually was ignored by most. I've seen a few similar to him lurking about this forum, but not many and not nearly to his degree of self-centered importance.

It's fairly easy to do. Every single post has a scales icon in the upper right corner. Simply click on it and a pop-up box will appear with option for positive or negative, and a space for a comment. See the image below for the location of the scale icon:
Remember that repuation comments are anonymous, so if you want someone to know who left your comment write you username at the end of the comment.

To see the comments left for you, just go visit your own user control panel (User CP), and and all reputation comments you have received will be displayed.

    I hope this helps...:otto:

That's great Slipdigit. It would be best to give positive reputation to everyone, even Rogues who have decided to turn off the reputation option. The Reputation system stores all feedback, even if you decide not to display your score. Maybe once they see how much good reputation they are getting they will decide to turn it back on.

Awe, heavens no, Za, I'm just picking at you and Otto. Trying to have a little fun at your expense. No harm is intended.
