Well, "they" do but I don't. I don't eat things that have more than a passing resemblance to after-birth.

User CP> Edit Options> first tickbox on that page "Show My Reputation Level" then save changes with the button at the bottom of the page.
Any comments then show when you visit your cp.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers,
    Adam.

What harm intended? Didn't you notice my use of smilies and the sentence "I don't mind much"? Of course I'm having some fun, as much as you are.

    Here, have some :fuhrerwein:

Yeah, I did, well sorta. We had a house fire last night and I was tired from no sleep and a bit loopy. It is more obvious to me now.:charliebrown:

You and my father would get along very nicely. He eats delights such as that.

I'll keep a couple beers in the fridge for your Dad as well, then :D

And per what you say, I'm sure everybody here will be willing to cut any slack needed, as firemen are the salt of the earth! :salute:

I think it also goes without saying that every member should give Otto positive feedback for creating and hosting this site for the past 7 Years and for bringing about the major board upgrade we experianced lately.

And to Peppy, for all the work he has put into this site, especially pertaining to the Smilies Section and the Avatars.

Sorry I can't add nothing to anyone's rep--I tried it and nothing happens.

Does this also mean that I can't vote for myself? :-D

Carl, everyone has the ability to give reputation points out. Just click the scales of justice icon and follow instructions, it should be fairly straightforward. You in particular have a huge effect on reputation since you have over 10,000 posts and 7 years of service, that means a huge 17 points of reputation power!

Your base Reputation Power is 6, based on years of service. You do however have a few addition power points based on your membership in the OKF. You should be getting 2 more points soon, one on September 10th, 2007 for an additional year of service, and another one when you hit 1,000 posts.

Hi Otto, many thanks. I tried it yesterday and nothing had happened. But, I tried it today and after several seconds, a box popped into view--so I voted. I don't know where you can read the comments at but, I gave you a vote and a comment ;-))

    No to Reputation System.

Agree with Poop and those who've given reasons and concerns against.
    And more.

I know there are sincere good motives behind it, but every forum I've seen use it found it to be a tool for a cadre of like-minded people to bully out those who disagreed just by 'pooling' their votes for or against 'pleebs'(they'd even call 'outsiders') like it was a fraternity to be pledged to.

Seems to be based on personal like or dislike rather than contribution to topic or forum.

    Against it.

I appreciate your concerns Balder, and that's why I decided to let every Rogue either participate in the reputation system or turn it off. I think it's a fairly good system, as long as people don't take these comments to heart. We must always remember that on the internet nobody knows you're dog, so reputation shouldn't bug you too much. ;) As far as outsiders, we don't have any around here, since everyone is a Rogue. :D

Concern noted. I also dont think think this is the kind of forum where people gang up on each other. Theres the rare person on here who seems to take the opposite stance to everyone else just to cause a fight of some sort, but those people are often Discharged before they cause any harm. You know, we do have to keep the :pzp: busy!
