Have faith this is a slow day for us, someone will be able to give you an idea as to where to look eventually. Welcome to the forum and enjoy!

 

The service files of all Canadian WWII KIAs are held by the Library and Archives Canada in Ottawa. They have been fully declassified for a decade now. You, or anybody else, can access your great uncle's service file by requesting a copy of it.

and follow the instructions. Application forms are here as well.

They are extremely busy so expect to wait a good six months. An alternative is to hire a freelance researcher in Ottawa to make a copy of the file for you.
