some nice colour footage of early/late mark S-Booten in the Baltic 1945, note in one real quick sequence the old Line-ship Schlesien (now a Flak ship) in the background and the manuevers with the Torpedo boots ~ Boats are in training.

the first chap is the S-boot C.O. though his jacket is not standard issue, you also view several others with rank on the left sleeve which is interesting, but you may have to go back to the clip several times. note the captial letters at the head of each representing per se the initial of each CO operating each Boot., D, K, L, H and R as examples; viewed are all part of the Training unit under the 3rd Lehr Flotille with the Tender Carl Peters in the Baltic- Ostsee

Very nice, I like the anti-aircraft gun sunk into the hull!

~ they found the little pop gun not very effective as the turning radius and cramped quarters were abit much, it was removed most of the time allowing a full range for the rearward twin 2cm and heavier single 3.7 or 4cm Bofors or if fitted, 2cm Flakvierling

no you are looking at a Destroyer in the foreground and a Cruiser in the background. the Schlesien is on the 39 second mark on the right with the large funnels
