Searching for inspiration to model an european village during WWII

Hi everyone. I am a new miniature wargamer and my focus is World War II. I would like to build my own buildings and terrain by using styrofoam and other material. I have searched the web for photos of buildings and other structures in that era with not much success.

If you have a few photos of houses, farms, restaurants, cities, ruins … of western Europe, I would be glad if you can post them here.
