When I search the forums for stuff, such as Turan II tank, I get a list of several threads in which the listing appears. The question I have is, is it possible to go to the exact posting which includes mention of the Turan II tank or do I have to wade through potentially dozens of pages in the thread? I would really appreciate the answer to this, especially if the answer is that I can just click somewhere and be taken to the specific posting. Thank you very much.

    Greetings mate,

First off, when searching remember to prioritize your searches.

Your search for Turan II tanks, can be prioritized by using "inverted quotes"

searching for Turan II tank yeilds 5-6 results,
searching for "Turan II" tank (with the proper noun prioritized) yeilds only 2 results.

When you prioritize that result, you essentially tell the vBSEO engine not to change a single word in the "inverted commas", but also to only display the threads with the prioritized words in them, unchanged in form.

But keep in mind that you can not prioritize your entire term, or it will most probably yeild 0 results, as it is most unlikely that the posts contain your exact terms.

Still if you do not find anything satisfactory, go to google, and search for... say
    Turan II tank ww2f .
where ww2f is the domain name of the forums.
    It should yield results.

If you still did not get it, then you can freely start a new topic.
    I hoped this helped.

    Regards,
    TBA
