My father jumped on D-Day with the 3/508th PIR from aircraft of the 313th Troop Carrier Group. I am seeking information on:

    1) Troop Manifests - Did they use them at that time and where might they be found?
    2) Which squadrons of the 313th TSG carried which units of the 508th?
    3) Where might the After Action Reports from the squadrons of the 313th TSG (29th, 47th, 48th, and 49th TCS) be found and would they have the estimated drop locations of each aircraft?

    Thanks

Found a site that reprints Morning Reports, Air Manifests from the 507th and some 508th units. Located at Airborne In Normandy Of course there is a price tag for the info.

Hi Sir Jahn, maybe you have found this info by now however I found a website with this info. Here is a link to the site below. My grandfather was a Captain for the 313th troop carrier group. He flew the famed C-47 (I heard it was actually a C-46 on dday) during his time in WW2. His chalk on Dday was Chalk #65 43-15632.

Let me know if you need any more information.
