Special Research History 0040, which includes Magic intercepts July/August 1945. Any help appreciated. If I find a copy your loved ones will be released unharmed.
Have you checked the NSA archive online? They have a typically sucky government search engine so it's a pain, but quite a bit is available there. Have you seen their article on the effectiveness of the Japanese radio deception measures?
Lots of linkage & references to summaries here, but it is quite odd following them: The Atomic Bomb and the End of World War II: A Collection of Primary Sources
Can't export search results, but 'Magic Intercepts' here does show a lot of stuff: Virtual Reading Room | National Security Archive
Re the radio deception, it was actually at the NWC. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...t=nwc-review&usg=AOvVaw3vPBPl83-GQ-IGgs2829r3
Good thing I got all this free time! (Minus time spent looking for the glasses on my forehead, of course.)
