    Hello,

I joined the forums hoping to find a place to sell my wool & hbt uniforms. I'm no longer participating in living history and lost touch with my old contacts. I was wondering if any of you would know where i could sell my XL uniform sets in orange county. I'd be happy just to get $120 for the lot.

I think you should try posting pictures of the items you wish to sell.

So, you have reproduction WWII US Army Wool Jacket/Trousers and HBT Jacket/Trousers - size XL. How many sets? Any other equipment - helmet - webbing etc.?

Which OC are we talking about?

HBT is short for: Herring Bone Twill. These uniforms were mainly worn by men serving in the Pacific theater of Ops-and mostly you see them being worn by the Marines. The "Herring Bone" part is because if you look at those uniforms, they DO look or can remind one-of a Herring Skeleton.

    Hi Guys

The HBT or Herring bone twill as Carl has stated was used in the Pacific by the Marines.
It was also used by the US Army in both theatres.

The Wehrmacht used HBT for their drill uniforms, the first being a white color and later a reed green version.
They had HBT Reed Green Summer tunics and trousers.
The Waffen SS used HBT for the Dot 44 sets. HBT was also used for late war W-SS tarnjacke's or pullover camo smocks.

As HBT and Wool uniforms were used by both German and American forces, I for one am not sure which impression Whiskey89 is selling?

    Best Regards, fischer
