    A very interesting series of photographs which I haven't seen reproduced together before.

    After Stalingrad the Soviet troops kept on attacking thinking the AGS was "dead". However the further they went, the less they had fuel and supplies, and Manstein surrounded them and started a counterattack and won back Kharkow. For some reason Häusser made a straight attack to Kharkow and lost a lot of men instead he could have surrounded the city and lose much less own troops. These photos are from Leibstandarte offensive with Dietrich and Panzermeyer in them.
