    I'll explain.

The Silent Hunter IV add-on "U-Boat Missions" allowed you to play German U-Boat campaigns in the Pacific, and added the Type IX-D2 and the Type XVIII as playable German submarines. Well, Keltos worked his magic and created Japanese submarines to play in the German campaigns. It was intended to be used in a major Japanese Campaign mod, but this may have been abandoned.

Keltos also created some British subs to use as on the American side.

Known playable SH IV sub mods: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=156169

There are also playable warships too.

Keltos01 is/was(been over a year since he last posted there) a forum member over at subsim.com. Can't say that I remember his real name...or even asked. Very talented in S3D and SH4 modding.
