Coincidentally, my father and brother-in-law will be visiting that museum this weekend. I have never seen the documentary. I think it highlights a few of the major pieces in his collection.

 

Yeah it does. it's quite a good documentary, but it only shows a fragment of what is in there. I wouldn't mine visiting there myself. Your Father and Brother-in-Law are really lucky

 

I take it sky tv is a cable channel? or is it a webcast thing?

 

I should take a look at it. Maybe I will pick it up when we travel there on Sat (I will be accompanying them ), though it is a tad pricey at the museum. The museum itself is basically a warehouse of sorts when looking at it from the outside. Inside it is well crafted. It's by appt only. They are constructing a new building next door which is much larger than the current site. Not sure whether they will still require appointments, but with the size I highly doubt it. Best I've seen this side of the pond.

I can imagine a place like this being appointment only for security reasons alone, not just possible numbers. Looking at the doc some of the exhibits you can touch! I suppose this will have to be monitored closely, so smaller numbers at a time will be vital.

 

I agree. Reportedly the museum will still hold on to its unique appeal with the chance to manipulate some exhibits. However the waiver is getting much more detailed in its explanation of the do's and don'ts, for good reason. Hard to maintain.

 

i pay 125.00/month for limited internet (depends on time of day), and aboot 50 channels of tosh (which pixels when too many watch the same show) ...Maybe 10 channels worth watching.
