Has anyone read the book Sniper Elite: Spear of Destiny?

It's based on Rebellion's videogame Sniper Elite: Berlin 1945 and tells the story of an American member of the OSS, disguised as a German sniper during the last days of WWII.
His mission is to steal German documents (which explain how to create a nuclear weapon) before the Soviet NKVD gets their hands on it. This OSS member will also have to carry out other missions along the way, like assassinating the Nazi-politician Martin Bormann, sabotaging Soviet and German attempts to capture/defend the city and helping the German resistance.

I think of buying this book and I've read a review of it, in which the reviewer says that the only cons of this book are that it could get boring for some people and that it's pretty linear. But I also would like to know if anyone of you has read the book and would like to express his/hers opinion about it.
