St Kilda's Lonely Gun

    This 4 inch gun was installed on the island of St Kilda, which is around 90 miles off the Western Scottish coast in October 1918, in response to an incident in May 1918 when U-90 surfaced in the bay and shelled the island.
    The gun never saw action..
