    Hello everyone,

Last week i went to a militariashow in Antwerp (Belgium):flag_Belgium: and i bought a little green box for about a EURO.
When i opened it i discovered a bandage and a little bag with "sulfanilamide" in it?

Does anyone know for what they used it?(sulfanilamide)

Sulfa, is probably what it was referred too. I believe it was applied to wounds to help suppress the bleeding - a coagulant (sp?) to help the blood knit together and stop bleeding.

EDIT: A quick google reveals it was used as an antibiotic...GI's were told to sprinkle it on wounds to help prevent infection. Could cause painful kidney problems though.
