Glad you find it funny. Others find US illegal and failing intervention in Syria funny.

If Russia's overseas operations are none by your saying why are you so overprotecting? There are no Soviet military or missiles in eastern Ukraine and no Russian air force power in Syria. What are you explaining then?

My mistake but if the % of recruitment is 26% because the police can be bought for not taking people to the Army you are losing the Army with the problem to pay the Army people their wages and not having new recruits.

Really???? Look at the Merkel thread. Anyone even pretending to know something about this would know that Russia signed a treaty guaranteeing Ukraine possession of the Crimea.
Only if Russia chose a long term course of antagonizing NATO. Most if not all the NATO powers would rather see Russia as a friend. There were no plans for it to become a NATO base and for good reason.
Not many will thanks to the Russians.
    I did and I am.
That is an interesting and somewhat warped version of what happened isn't it?
Iran is using terrorist organizations to support the Assads and Russia is helping Iran do so. Of course the losses they are suffering are causing them some problems as well but there's little question that Syria is being used to rearm some of them.
Yes really. Weird interpretation on your part. Did you not understand something or just couldn't think of a reasonable come back?
Well if the conflict is still going on after several years calling it a victory of any sort is rather questionable. As is calling it quick.
Since that was never in the cards he didn't really need to do anything did he? It's pretty clear that this was another land grab on his part but this time it didn't succeed on his time table. Now he's got a hold of a tar baby.
That's a rather artificial distinction isn't it? Russia has certainly shipped them components and helped them maintain and upgrade systems built and supported in Russia. That kind of makes them Russian systems doesn't it?
Really? I thought the Russians were smarter than that. In any case the Russians initially claimed that Syrian air defences had shot down over 70 missiles while claiming that they had improved the Syrian systems. The US presented evidence that none of the missiles had been shot down. That suggest there's still room for improvement doesn't it. I've also read that the Syrians didn't turn on said systems. Which also raises some questions.
I have similar issue with it on occasion. Was good for a laugh this time at least.
The point of a sales campaign is to show the item in a good light and avoid negative publicity. As long as the Russians aren't confronting front line Western systems they should be able to avoid circumstances where things don't look good. Other than parades of course ...
by the way the article you linked didn't make them sound very impressive. Also mentioned the reports that 4 of them didn't make it all the way to Syria.

Care to site exactly what makes the US intervention illegal?
As for failing it is certainly not. The US activities there were always aimed at Daesh and potentially Al Quda. When the US forces showed up the former controlled a good portion of Syria US supported forces have taken most of that territory away from them and gone a long way towards dismantling their organization. In the mean time Russia has ignored the former unless they directly threatened the Assad regime .... unless you count their claims to be attacking them as not ignoring them.
The evidence is overwhelmingly to the contrary. How much did that post earn you?
