    Another site I stumbled on that has a tremendous amount of info'. Breakdowns and explanations of tactics, weapons and personnel in short article format.
    "Tactical and Technical Trends" was published by the U.S. Military Intelligence Service in WWII from June 1942 to June 1945. Publication was initially biweekly, and later monthly. "Tactical and Technical Trends" covered much of the same material as the Intelligence Bulletin, although generally more in-depth. The same articles frequently appeared in both publications.     Someone mentioned Japanese machine guns, this from the Sept. 24, 1942 issue;

    In all their campaigns in the Far East, particularly in the close-in fighting of the jungle, the Japanese have relied heavily on the automatic fire of their light and heavy machine guns. The following table gives available figures on the performance of these guns. Types 92 and 96 are the latest.
