Post your links here ! Let´s try to collect all links to tank videos in this thread, instead of having them separately posted all over the forum. :smok:
No link, but I've watched an episode on the US history channel from the Fields of Armor series entitled Nightmare in Normandy (1993) which is very graphic. It shows Shermans (called "Tommy cookers" by the Germans) being hit and burning, verious German tanks and assault guns in action, etc. It also shows some Americans wasting some Germans trying to surrender. So much for the Geneva Conventions. The Hist Chann also had an hour long program on the 2d Armored Div (US) in WW II. I hope you guys in Europe have a chance to catch some of the programs.
Chronos Films Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but Chronos Films' "Die Deutschen Panzer" is an 8-tape series on ... guess what? I don't know if they are available anymore or are in DVD now, but they are definitely worth viewing. Some of the footage looks like the source material was video rather than film stock (or maybe that's just a production issue), but it's still good stuff. Each volume focuses on a particular model (Pz III, IV, V, Tiger) or class (light tanks, SPs, Stg, halftracks/armored cars) of armored vehicle, with lots of rarely seen wartime footage.
