That'll be a long time coming! From what I have seen on TV, it looks like a comic book character's exploits brought to the screen. Made for the 12-16 year old's mindset....

First, what does a "cod of a film" mean? Is that good or bad? And if you are talking about "Valkyrie," yes I saw it at the theatre when it came out. Not too bad of a production. Cruise is not my favorite actor by no means, but he did a good job in portraying Col. Von Stauffenburg. If you are interested, there are several threads that go into detail about this and other movies in this particular forum.

As a word of caution, just remember that the original was a huge hit in Europe, but was a big flop over here.

I heard they were thinking of the lead of being either Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks or Bruce Willis.

Ok, who has actually seen the film? It seems, so far, that only UK subs has volunteered that information. I curious what those who have seen it think. From the ads, it looks like a turkey to me.

I think your right when you say the tv ad make the film look like a turkey , but there a lot of bad press about the film for no reason , even my girlfriend liked it
I think people should see the film for them self before putting it down

My Fiancee has only ever liked one ww2 Movie, and that was Hart's War with Bruce Willis. She has this obsession with him. She even cried when he was shot. She refuses to watch anything else, until she heard about this Tatentino movie and that it might have Bruce Willis in it.
