During my long sojourn in Bali, to while away the time and to take my mind off sadder things, I periodically put WW II questions together and played with a script upon which to put them.

    Here's the first one:

Comments as to the format will be appreciated.

    30%...

Nice quiz, and it is indeed good to have you back!

My only suggestion - it is currently possible to click on more than 1 answer, which is not good.

Got 50% correct. Which is not bad, considering that I didn't know any of those, just guessed them...

50% as well, with nary a clue as to what I was answering!

Does that mean I have to change my surname?

Point well taken Ricky. A note to click only one box has been added in the QDR box.

If there is anyone more skilled at Javascript and able to come with an alternative please let me know.

To you and the other gentlemen who have welcomed me back, thank you.

    All the best, Gerry

Use INPUT TYPE="radio" instead of INPUT TYPE = "checkbox"

Thank you Tom. Did this but I guess the script needs a spot more tweeking as only the correct answer gets a check mark.

    See: http://www.northirishhorse.org/nih/Quiz/test.html

    Cheers, Gerry

    Hmm
    Needs some work...

If I get a bit of time, I'll have a look at it properly
How do you produce it -- some quizmaker program or DIY?

With the help of a friend in Bali, who taught me the basics, after much toil and sweat managed to create the template used for the insertion of questions, repositioning placement of check marks, etc.
