My Marine Corps League Detachment asked me to make a diorama that will be displayed in the New Jersey Viet Nam Veteran Museum I saw one made by Steve Zulenski and asked his permission to reproduce it He said okay and I hope I can do it justice It is about the U.S, Marines 1/5 retaking The Citadel in Hue during Tet Here's the start That's all for now Thanks for looking Tom
Nice work...some diesel spill stains and paint scratching (from entrenching tool and jerry can usage - if nothing else) regular boot scuffs from crew mouting the tank buy the same route...and photograph under natural light. But a mighty fine effort!

Nice work, but one question. In the frontal picture of the tank there is a dark line across the front hull where the upper and lower hull meets, is this a gap? If so it needs to be filled.
This is the final installment of delta 1/5 taking the Dong Ba Tower. The tower had to be taken so the Marines could advance into the Citadel View attachment 20921 View attachment 20922 View attachment 20923
