    Fred Sutherland is the last surviving Canadian dambuster, only one of three left in the world. He's also a family man and an all-round great Canadian citizen. I interviewed him recently about his wartime exploits. Read about them by clicking on the Wartime Wednesdays link below.

    (Since I first wrote this, Fred became one of only two Dambusters in the world. Les Munro of New Zealand died on August 4, 2015).

    Fred's exploits as a Dambuster are featured in Max Arthur's book. Since I just finished it, it is still fresh in my mind. Thanks for an excellent interview. It is always nice to read an interview of someone who appears in a book. Sadly, there are too few of these men still around.
