    Good day fellow rouges,
I was just doing a little research on the Pak 40 To see if I could use mine in my Diorama. I have stummbeled across very few thing's and I would like to send out a question:
Was the Pak 40 Used in the German take-over of France?
Also, If there is any information I wouldn't really find on wikipedia, I'd like to know that.

(I know; Short and to the point in this thread but I am really busy)
    Thanks for your help,
    TT

forget wiki, if you are planning a cool dio then you need some good references. check out Schiffer publications as they have many softbound books as reprints of some of the older German Patzwell titles which are a must have for their price. do a good thorough google seach for Pak 40 7.5cm.

    have fun

AFAIK the first use of the Pak 40 was in 1942 (there is a theory a handful did see use in late 1941 but unconfirmed), so no Pak 40 in France in 1940 (or even Pak 38 for that) , all the Germans had were the 37mm Pak 36 apart from a few Czech 47mm on SP chassis and, of course, the "last resort" 88mm Flak 18 and Flak 36. As for a dio start from a picture of the main subject you're reasonably sure about where and when it was taken and work from there addindg other stuff that fits the period.
