    That Olympic pin is pretty cool. Looks like something was originally glued onto it?

    Thanks guys! I am excited to get into collecting as each piece draws me further into the history.

    The olympic pin I found at a street fair in NYC. I always assumed it was "de-nazified". There should be the eagle and swastika there.

    It should look like the picture here.

    I've always liked the items with 1939 on them....of course one of the most famous years of all...I thought someone else here had some Olympic stuff, ..was it Kai?

    The Berlin Olympiade was in 1936 , not 1939

    yes I know...I've researched the soccer teams from that one...particularly the Hungarian team.....I was talking about the 1939 medal....is that a Merit Cross?

    Yes, it's a kriegsverdienstkreuz 2nd class (without swords)
