The V-1 as an AAM

    I am sure you mean the V-1 here, not the supersonic V-2 which flew at thousands of miles per hour. The V-1 was not only slow, but could be dodged by even bombers since it was a "point, shoot, and pray" weapon with rudimentary guidence at best. Those controlled by wire guided systems were limited in ability to evade attack, and those controlled by radio beams could be easily jammed and disabled.
