    Trust the media, politicians, religious leaders, multi-national companies, bankers and the weather reports. I am a born cynic.

    I'm just amazed at how much folks from other Countries know about USA politics. When it comes to foreign politicians and how their governments operate most of us here know very little about it. I watched the House of Commons on BBC when I first got satellite TV and decided Benny Hill had some competition.

    O thank the Almighty for a bookshelf put to proper use.

    Ikea's "bookcase"
    [IMG]

    WTF?!?

    All too common in homes in Scandinavia.

    Back on topic;
    Things I wouldn't do; come home to person, get shown their living room bookless bookshelf, then go berserk and throw all the crap off the Ikea bookshelf while raging about mindless airheads.

    But I wanna.

    Won first place at the biggest bar in Edmonton- Halloween costume contest . Made a Benny Hill costume.

    My bookcase carries an enormous weight. Very narrow wheelbase. Have often wondered what it could do to an unwanted visitor.

    When does bookshelf become storage? A bleak, seedy world lies betwixt them both...

    Last time I counted, we have over 1500 books in our house. We have donated about 800 to our local library. That number does not count a couple of hundred on my nook and my wife's Kindle. Does that mean we have a problem?

    We (my family) are kind of a book junkies too. We never counted the books we have but I estimate we have around 500 in our flat and at least 500 more in a house at the village.
