Thought I'd Share Some Memorabilia

Ok short back story to this. My Grandad sadly passed away in 2004 but he left me with his Second World War memorabilia. I don't know much about the items I received but I did some research on the medals. I have created a gallery too showcase most of the items that were left to me. I would appreciate it if you could comment on the pictures here or over at deviantART, and maybe even provide me with some information on some of the items.

Hi Parry, First of all welcome on this fine forum and thank yo ufor showing these nice pictures. I like the mock iron cross with "KULTUR" a lot. I can imagine soldiers "awarding" this one to the idiot of each regiment from time to time. It must have been quite a joke to carry that around.
By the way I took the liberty to move your thread to the militaria section.

Hi Parry-I don't know how to post pics here but ask Kai, Erich or Skipper-they are masters at it ;-))
