    Joe Russo (my uncle) Middle brother Flew B-17s and possibly P-40

    Louis Russo (my father) the oldest

    Armand Russo (my uncle) the youngest Served in the 82nd airborne during World War II as surgical technician participated in the battle if Normandy as well as the Rhineland and Ardennes campaigns.

    8A61F8BF-7221-432A-BCB9-F7E998319C14.jpeg I guess I am lucky to still have this, dad’s coat from when he was a Captain in the 29th Infantry Division and before that he was in a division of the tank destroyers. Don’t know too much, he never wanted to talk much. He passed away in 1988.

    Some of his patches. He went in as enlisted and sometime before 1945 he became an officer.
