    Yes, Wtid45,

especially Victory´s "temples of gold" album was excellent. And Ronnie James´voice is so addictive I have to buy almost anything he records....

All these wonderful albums mostly in the early 1980´s AC/DC´s Hell´s bells, for those about to rock, Motörhead, Scorpions, Dio, Whitesnake, Rainbow....oh those were the days!!! ;)

Monster Mash is by Bobby "Boris" Pickett. It was released in 1962 and went to number 1 on the charts. Re-released in the USA in 1970 and again in 1973, it made it to number 10 in 1973.

You have quite eclectic taste based on your playlists!

He DG, thanks for the confirmation at who the singer was. I remember when it came out in 1970-reason being, is that my Sister and two older Brothers all bought a copy of the record single. I even somewhat remember what the artwork on the cover looks like-though I haven't seen any of their copies since then. That was one of my all-time favorite songs to hear when I was a Yonker ;-))

Heh heh, thanks for the compliment on my choices for music to listen to. I even like at least two of the earlier Rap songs-just don't remember their titles. Also, I like German, French and even some Russian music. Sometimes I might listen to a bit of Spanish music-since most of it is based on German music ;-))

There's a good joke about that too-which is in the form of a question.

The joke is: "What do you call Tejano Music? That's German music played on stolen instruments".

I love music and as long as a song sounds good-i'll listen to it even if it is sang in a language I don't speak. ;-))

One of my Brothers has a wierd tastse in what he likes. All he will listen to is, either Country or Hard Rock-which I guess aint so bad? ;-))

Hi Kai, when did Robert Palmer pass away? I never heard about it? Heres a short story for you. Back about 1986-87ish, I was friends and hung out with seven very pretty to absolutely beautiful girls. I was about 20-21 at the time and my best friends of the bunch wer Allison Franks and Judy Spoon. Anyway, because of knowing Judy, I met several of her friends and we all did a lot of hanging around together (not on a Trapeze-just in case Miguel is going to read this post)

Anyway, I had invited Judy to lunch w/ me at a local Pizza Hut-went picked her up along with another very pretty gal I barely knew. We were on our way until we saw Allison and four others walking down the street. As I was the only one w/ a car-they all piled into it and off we went.

At that time-being food was much cheaper-I was able to afford to buy all of them lunch. We walked into Pizza Hut-spotted a table full of Swabbies who were from a local NAS Base-who all were staring at me google-eyed because I was walking in with so many pretty gals. They (the Swabbies) freaked at the scene and wondered how the hell I did this?

We all knew exactly what they were thinking and four of the girls kissed my cheeks including Allison-who was the taller of the seven-and the prettiest. Well, we all sat in a roundish booth w/ me in between Allison and Judy-and placed our orders.

Everybody "hammed" it up for the swabbies-and made them freak out. Finally one of them came up to our table and tried to ask the girls for their phone numbers. What was really funny was that all of them said the only guy to have their numbers-was me-and they would have to ask me for permission to give any numbers out. I hate to sound greedy but-needless to say-I denied the swabbies from getting any phone numbers-and the girls-rather-Ladies-all loved it. They all definately approved and none of them wanted to date any Navy guys.

We were all "play acting and really hamming it up"-and the swabbies took it all in-believing everything they saw. At that time, I did not have a girlfriend of my own-partly because of always being with these seven ladies, and partly because I was always broke from taking some of them out just for the hell of it.

The whole point to my story was, that while we were eating our personal pan pizzas in Pizza Hut, they had a Jukebox there which had a few of Robert Palmers songs on it including: "Addicted To Love" which we constantly played the entire 2 hours we were there and which drove those swabbies crazy.

Damn I sure miss all of those gals ;-))

Kai, thanks for helping me bring back this memory from the deepest dustiest areas in the back of my mind-even if it was caused by some sad news.
