Tony Wood's RAF and USAAF Combat Claims and Casualties Lists, including Jim Perry's Luftwaffe Claims Database has a new Website: http://lesliesawyer.com/claims/tonywood.htm http://www.ww2.dk/wood.html Web Archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20130928070316/http://lesbutler.co.uk/claims/tonywood.htm "Allied Combats & Casualties These lists are my interpretations of "Allied Combats & Casualties" which were taken from the official RAF Fighter Command records held at PRO/Kew. A large and ever increasing number of descendants have been able to obtain a semblance of closure on the loss of their loved ones, thanks in no small part to these databases. We are grateful for their work on these historical archives and in preserving the memory and honour of these courageous pilots and crew.
Of special and particular note. The LostAircraft.com Website has seen massive input. English see: http://www.lostaircraft.com/database.php?lang=en German: http://www.lostaircraft.com/database.php?lang=de Our friends on the continents are just POUNDING in Luftwaffe and USAAF Losses. And I mean pounding them in. Hundreds per day. A few Soviet losses are starting to appear as well. Stay tuned. Cyrillic Fonts, Asian Fonts and Italian are on the To-Do list, as Soviet Block, Italian Supremo Commando and Japanese Fighter and Bomber and Coastal and Navy etc Commands Losses are all going to be added on their To-Do List. - this confirmed by PM from the http://www.lostaircraft.com/ forum and database owner / administrator. It has also inserted google maps of ± all crash locations. Next on the celebration list: RAF Fighter Command losses are beginning to appear. This new resource comes with one serious bonus. It is a wiki. You are free to edit, update, correct, add new and valuable information and links and yes, insert new records. Give er! And yes, this is one website that is well worth our financial support. I hope this one survives a thousand years from now.

sad that 1945 is basically lost for the LW both day and night, due to the non-confirmation process working after November of 1944. I know that Dr. Theo Boiten is re-writing his 2 volumes on the Nachtjagd into 5 volumes and once completed there will be possibly nothing ever written so deep into research / west and eastern fronts
