While sailing in the Netherlands I stumble on all kinds of stories, this is one of them. The Texel lighthouse has a double wall. It was damaged during the last weeks of WW2 and even after the German capitulation.

A battle that went on after the capitulation. Was it an uprise or was it mutiny?
    A controversial story.

Interesting little tale, and a not uncommon end to one of the Reich's foreign legions.
