Wait. Sloniksp works? I thought this was a full time job. No one told me we were allowed lives outside the forum. Hmm. ;)

The_Historian has accepted a position as Trustee, overseeing the Military History subforum. His insights and discussion are always top notch and I look forward to his deeper involvement with the forum.

Note that his name is The(underscore)Historian.

Congrats and good luck to all the newest assets to the forum. This means that there will be more professionalism associated with our organization, which is a good thing.

It's been a slow go this summer, filling out the Trustee roster, what with vacations and other delays, but we are moving on slowly with it.

Martin Bull, a long-time and respected Moderator (and 10,000 post Rogue), is now a Trustee, with responsibilties covering the Western European Theater. Martin has been busy with real life for the past several months and he and the forum leadership thought that a relief from moderator duties would be a good thing for all concerned. So I guess that even though this change is technically a "demotion", I feel a congratulation is in order to Martin, for being in a position that better suits his time allowances.

We will be adding some more Trustees (and a new moderator or two) as the Summer ends & turns into Autumn.

Y'all please bear with us as we move slowly along.

Glad to see you back. I just hope you don't have, you know, ambitions beyond Western Europe.;)
