The NP article says there were no signs of "state sponsored terrorism". What exactly is state sponsored? Al Queda has no country of its' own. ..I say any country that knowingly host any AQ operatives, is a state that sponsors terrorism.
Depends what hosting comes down to...Even Sadman Hussein could not get to Ali Q's cousins in Iraq pre Gulf 2...And he had no qualms in wiping any one out in his own borders. Apparantly If I'm to believe my own govt...we in UK host unwittingly..but knowingly...Ali Q supporters...So I'm waiting with baited breath for the free world to bomb or invade us...Its just not that simple...and Security and govts know this and play on it when they feel it is in their interest to do so. Questions gentlemen...its what 2 threads on here are all about...not letting our peers hoodwink us and to do so...not toeing the party line, not supporting your enemies either...but certainly not supporting unquestionably our peers who have other interests at their forefront..And thus we get a compliant suppilant press that just repeats party lines...then goes off on tangents...instead of asking relevant questions...and holding people to account for their words and actions...When did the western media become a voice for its peers..Thats the job of Pravda of old...
Yes but talking about countries that knowingly host/shelter AQ. Iraq had AQ, but did not support them. Canada has AQ, and if we find any we shoot, shovel, and shut up....Er, that's my new proposal to Parliament.
