Anyway...brief synopsis... 1. A two-part story about a doctor working in a hospital in 1918, struggling against the Spanish Flu pandemic, and his son, just over 20 years later, who grows up to be a policeman. 2. Bertie and Harold (nicknamed 'Rollo' in the story): two old school-friends and soldiers, fighting in the trenches of the Western Front in WWI.
