    That was rather far from the truth. The USN/USCG's responce to the U-boats attacks was extremly slow, and for months the U-boats had virtually unopposed hunting, day or night, causing many sailers to lose their lives, and many ships to go down with all their cargo.

    Hey Leitung where in NY are you from. I'm in Spain right now but I'm here with my family. I was born and raised in NY until about 3 months ago when we moved to Spain. ;)

    Binghamton, its upstate. An hour from syracuse, 3 from NYC. It sucks here.
